With Halloween just around the corner, we thought that we should try something a little different this year during the open house.  What could be cooler than making your own Halloween Paperweight in our hotshop?  Between the hours of 1:30PM and 5:00PM we are offering you the chance to make a one of a kind, out of this world, eerily paperweight with the assistance of one of our studio artists.  What makes these paperweights special?  Here's a hint.  They glow under certain conditions.  The cost will be $35.00.  There are limited slots so a reservation is necessary.

Another year has passed and the weather has cooled down.  It must be time for our Anniversary Open House.  On Saturday, October 2, 2010, the studio will open at 1:30PM for all to drop by and say "Hi".  Glassblowing demos will start at 6:00PM.  This year guest artists Zachary Herrmann and Phillip Taylor will join Tadashi and Algar in the hot shop creating distinctive works of art.  Here is brief video from a prior open house.
