Welcome to Duckbill Studios.  We are a public access glass blowing studio located in the metro Atlanta region that is dedicated to fostering the glass blowing community in Georgia.

In the Studio

Winter has arrived and the studio is open once again after a short holiday break.  Our Ornament-to-Go sessions were a smashing success.  105 pieces were made during these sessions.  A big THANK YOU to all new and returning people who participated.  You make it worth the while.  If you missed last year’s event (and you didn’t get the chance to find your inner glassblower) look out for the event sometime in November and sign up.  If you can’t wait until then, try out one of our other class offerings.

Valentine’s Day Hearts and More

Blue Heart SolidIf you are looking for that special gift for that special someone, come by and make a cool looking glass heart.  This is a seasonal event and will disappear after February 14th.  If you have a sense of humor (or the macabre), you can make a black heart.  The studio is warm so drop by and take the chill off while making a heart.

Want to try something a little more difficult?  Why not try your hand at your very own drinking tumbler.  These distinctive tumblers are great if you keep losing your drink at a dinner party.  No two are alike so you’ll be able to pinpoint that lost drink.cup photo  For St. Patty’s day, try and make a tumbler in emerald green.

We are trying out a new scheduling tool called Schedulicity.  In order to make a request a reservation to make a heart or tumbler (or if you prefer, a paperweight), You’ll need to click the Schedule Now button below.  If the date that you desire isn’t available due to the 48 hour blackout period, you can call the studio at 404-460-2791 and we can try and fit you into the schedule.
