Marci Rheinschild

Marci has always had a passion for expressing herself through her art. A native of Washington State, she moved to Florida before the glass movement could reach her. She has collected glass for years and recently started to try to make it on her own.

She started assisting Tom Bellhouse in his private studio learning lampworking, and assisting with furnace glass and then studying with Phillip Shelby in Robertstown, Georgia. She discovered Duckbill Studios in a trip to Atlanta, and assisted at the studio from fall of 2009 to the end of 2010.

A fiber artist of many years, Marci is always searching for new ways to make beautiful things. Now she is working with glass on her own and enjoying every minute of it.
